Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: three editions, one set of account rules
Our pokies lobby holds three Pragmatic Play games named after Mount Olympus: the original, a 1000 edition and a Super Scatter edition. Zeus and the tumbling grid are common to all of them, yet each follows its own rules and published figures. Here we set out what the studio publishes, price the multipliers and Super Scatter payouts in Australian dollars, and show how your stakes count toward a bonus and toward loyalty points.
Gates of Olympus in the VegasNow lobby: the essentials
Three Pragmatic Play pokies carry the Olympus name in our lobby, and the easiest way to avoid confusion is to keep their figures apart from the start. This table gathers what applies on your account, whichever edition you open.
| Item | What applies at VegasNow |
|---|---|
| Studio | Pragmatic Play; our catalogue lists the Super Scatter edition under that studio |
| Editions you can open | The original, the 1000 edition and the Super Scatter edition |
| Published RTP | 96.50%, which belongs to the original only |
| Top multiplier symbol | 500× on the original and on Super Scatter |
| Largest published award | 50,000× your stake, from four Super Scatters during that edition's feature |
| Share of each stake counted for wagering | The full 100%, as with any slot, unless the bonus terms name it as an exception |
| Stake ceiling while a bonus is open | A$8 a spin |
| Loyalty earning | One point of each kind (redeemable and status) per A$25 of real-money play |
| Devices | Desktop and phone browsers; we publish no store app and no APK |
| Age | 18+ only |
Where a figure is missing here, Pragmatic Play does not publish it on the game page we work from. It sits in the info panel inside the game, and we would rather leave a gap than borrow a number from some other listing.
Telling the three Olympus editions apart at VegasNow
Our lobby search matches part of a title, so the single word Olympus brings every edition onto one screen. Searching the studio name works from the other direction and shows Pragmatic Play's other pokies too. Star the tile you prefer and it stays in your Saved list on that device.
The thumbnails share Zeus, the temple columns and the gold palette, which is exactly why players open the wrong one. Treat the name on the loading screen as the label that counts.
| Edition | Grid and wins | Multipliers | Feature | Max win | RTP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Original | Six reels, tumbling; groups of 8 to 30 identical symbols pay wherever they land | Up to 500×, values summed | 15 free spins once four or more scatters show | Info panel | 96.50% |
| 1000 edition | Info panel | Info panel | Info panel | Info panel | Info panel |
| Super Scatter | Tumbling grid | Up to 500× | During the feature, 1, 2, 3 or 4 Super Scatters pay 100×, 500×, 5,000× or 50,000× | 50,000× | Info panel |
Volatility for all three appears only in each game's info panel, so we leave it out. The 1000 edition deserves a special word: it is a game in its own right, and nothing in the original's row, the 96.50% figure and the 15-spin feature included, can be assumed to carry over to it. Before staking on any edition, open its info panel once and read the paytable and feature rules. The same discipline applies across our Book of Ra editions, where a different studio raises the same question.
How a Gates of Olympus spin unfolds
The original edition has no paylines. Its six reels form one grid, and a win is any group of eight or more identical symbols showing at once, wherever they sit. Bigger groups pay more, up to thirty matching symbols. Three mechanics then shape what one paid spin can become.
Tumbles
Symbols that form a win vanish, and fresh symbols fall from above to fill the gaps. If the new arrangement wins again, that group vanishes too and the grid refills. The sequence ends on the first refill that produces nothing. However long it runs, you paid one stake for it, and that one stake is all the wagering counter sees.
Multiplier symbols are summed
Multiplier symbols land carrying a value, the highest being 500×. When several appear during a winning sequence, their values are added and the total applies to that sequence's win. Three illustrations, with values chosen only to show the arithmetic:
- 4×, 8× and 15× sum to 27×, so a sequence worth A$3.20 becomes A$86.40.
- 12× and 50× sum to 62×, so a A$0.75 sequence becomes A$46.50.
- One 500× symbol on a A$0.30 sequence lifts it to A$150.
Addition matters: 4× and 8× together give 12×, never 32×. The game decides which values appear and how often, and none of these examples moves the published return. An RTP of 96.50% means that across an enormous run of spins the game hands back A$965 for each A$1,000 staked. One evening can finish well above or well below that, and both outcomes are consistent with it.
Fifteen free spins from four scatters
Four or more scatters on the original trigger 15 free spins. They carry no stake of their own, because the triggering spin already paid. Pragmatic Play publishes no frequency for the feature.
Super Scatter awards priced in Australian dollars at VegasNow
The Super Scatter edition keeps tumbles and multiplier symbols up to 500×, and its feature adds a symbol with fixed payouts: the more Super Scatters on the grid, the larger the multiple of your stake. Here is each payout at three stake sizes.
| Super Scatters in the feature | Award | At A$0.40 a spin | At A$2.50 a spin | At A$8 a spin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100× | A$40 | A$250 | A$800 |
| 2 | 500× | A$200 | A$1,250 | A$4,000 |
| 3 | 5,000× | A$2,000 | A$12,500 | A$40,000 |
| 4 | 50,000× | A$20,000 | A$125,000 | A$400,000 |
The bottom row is the ceiling, since 50,000× is also the edition's published maximum win. The dollar columns are plain multiplication; the studio publishes no frequency for any of the four payouts.
Where the A$5,000 bonus cap takes over
Our general bonus terms limit what a deposit bonus can turn into to A$5,000 per offer. Read the table against that line:
- At A$0.40, up to three Super Scatters (A$2,000) stay under the cap; four (A$20,000) pass it.
- At A$2.50, two (A$1,250) fit and three (A$12,500) do not.
- At A$8, two (A$4,000) fit and three or four do not.
The cap counts everything won under the offer, not each award separately, so an earlier A$1,800 win during the same bonus leaves A$3,200 of headroom. Real-money play with no bonus open has no such cap, though the payout side still has limits: each method has its own range, the account allows A$6,000 a day, A$12,000 a week and A$42,000 a month, and big sums can arrive in instalments. A A$40,000 balance would therefore be paid over several requests spread across more than one week. Our withdrawals page lists the method ranges.
How Gates of Olympus counts toward VegasNow bonus wagering
Each edition is a slot, and the terms of 26 February 2024 count slot stakes in full, apart from any titles they single out as exceptions. Check that your edition is not one of them. If it is not, every dollar staked moves the counter by a dollar, which no other game type in the casino matches.
| Game type | Share counted | A$60 of stakes becomes |
|---|---|---|
| Olympus edition not on the exceptions list | 100% | A$60 of progress |
| Roulette | 25% | A$15 of progress |
| Blackjack or a game show | 10% | A$6 of progress |
| Baccarat | 0% | No progress |
The welcome package spreads up to A$8,000 and 500 free spins over four deposits, starting with 150% up to A$1,500 plus 200 spins and using the codes VEGAS2, VEGAS3 and VEGAS4 for the later stages. Each stage needs at least A$20, though your payment method may ask for more, for example A$30 by card. Bonus money must be wagered 40 times within seven days, and so must free-spin winnings. Spins are credited only after the deposit has been staked once. The deposit bonus can cash out at most A$5,000 per offer, and welcome spin winnings at most A$300. None of it can be used on sports. Our welcome bonus page holds the full conditions.
Worked example: a A$150 deposit played on Gates of Olympus
1. Pay in and receive the match
A A$150 card payment clears the card floor easily. At 150%, the first stage adds A$225 of bonus, for a playable balance of A$375.
2. Work out the requirement
A$225 × 40 = A$9,000 of qualifying stakes, to be completed inside seven days. On an Olympus edition counting at 100%, every staked dollar goes toward it.
3. Turn it into spins
Your stake decides how many paid spins A$9,000 represents. The table gives four choices, ending at the A$8 ceiling.
4. Track the spin winnings
The 200 first-stage spins appear once A$150 has been staked. If they return A$42, that sum needs 40 × A$42 = A$1,680 of its own wagering, and spin winnings above A$300 can never be cashed out.
| Stake per spin | Paid spins for A$9,000 | Per day across seven days |
|---|---|---|
| A$0.50 | 18,000 | About 2,571 |
| A$2 | 4,500 | About 643 |
| A$5 | 1,800 | About 257 |
| A$8 | 1,125 | About 161 |
Tumbles and the 15-spin feature cost no new stake, so they do not shrink these counts. The figures come from the terms; they do not predict how A$375 fares over 1,125 spins.
A second deposit of A$400 with VEGAS2 would have to wait, since the account holds one bonus at a time. When its turn comes it adds A$400 of bonus and a A$16,000 requirement: 2,000 spins at A$8, about 286 a day. Separately, account terms v2.3 ask for every deposit to be turned over three times before you withdraw against it, A$450 in this case. You can also decline a bonus if 40× does not suit how you play.
The A$8 ceiling on every Olympus spin while a bonus runs
While any bonus sits on your account, no spin may cost more than A$8. That covers the four welcome stages, reloads such as Lucky 7s Load Up on our weekly promotions page, and bonuses bought with loyalty points. Set the stake in the bet selector before the first spin, and look again whenever you change edition, because each game opens with its own selector.
Gates of Olympus makes the limit easy to forget. A long tumble chain or a stacked multiplier total can turn a small bet into a big number, and the instinct is to raise the next stake. The Super Scatter table shows why that gains nothing: at A$8, three Super Scatters already pay A$40,000, eight times the A$5,000 limit on bonus winnings. A higher stake with the bonus open cannot raise what you keep, and it breaks the terms the bonus sits under.
VegasNow loyalty points from Gates of Olympus
The VegasNow loyalty ladder has seven levels themed on Las Vegas venues, and only real-money play feeds it. Pokies earn fastest: every A$25 staked brings one redeemable point plus one status point. Roulette needs A$100 per point, while blackjack and baccarat need A$250. Each Olympus edition is a pokie, so all three earn at the quickest rate.
A$75 of real-money spins earns 3 points, and A$1,250 earns 50. The smallest Loyalty Store swap needs 200 points, so it takes A$5,000 of pokie play. Keeping 2,000 points for one exchange returns A$60 rather than the A$50 that ten separate swaps would give.
| Store row | Points | Bonus | Pokie stakes to earn them | Wagering at 40× |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Golden Glimmer | 200 | A$5 | A$5,000 | A$200 |
| Golden Glimmer, saved | 2,000 | A$60 | A$50,000 | A$2,400 |
| Parisian Palace Las Vegas | 750 | A$20 | A$18,750 | A$800 |
| Bella Vista | 100,000 | A$5,000 | A$2,500,000 | A$200,000 |
Status points set your level. Golden Glimmer II begins at 600, or A$15,000 of pokie stakes, and Golden Glimmer III at 2,000, or A$50,000. The rungs between those and the top are shown after you sign in. These are stakes, not losses: the points depend only on turnover, the balance on results. The Sin City VIP Lounge works by invitation, as our loyalty and VIP page explains.
Gates of Olympus on a phone or tablet
VegasNow is a browser casino. We offer no native app for iPhone or Android and no installer file, so a download offered under our name elsewhere is not ours. All three Olympus editions load in Safari or Chrome with the same tumbling grid and info panel you see on a desktop.
To keep the lobby a tap away on an iPhone, use Share, then Add to Home Screen, with Open as Web App switched on for a full-screen view. On Android, Chrome's More menu offers Install or create a shortcut. Our mobile app page walks through both. Sign in on the usual login screen and your balance and any open bonus follow you, A$8 ceiling included.
Before you spin: a VegasNow checklist for Olympus
- Edition. Confirm the loading screen shows the edition you meant to open.
- Rules. Read that edition's paytable and feature rules in its info panel, above all on the 1000 edition.
- Exceptions. With a bonus open, check the exceptions list before counting on 100%.
- Stake. Keep it at A$8 or lower while a bonus runs, and recheck after switching editions.
- Clock. Divide the requirement by seven for the daily pace, then decide whether to take the bonus at all.
- Budget. Fix a session amount and switch on a deposit limit before playing.
- Exit route. Know which own-name method suits your likely balance: MiFinity pays from A$30, bank wire from A$300, and crypto has per-coin ranges.
Common Gates of Olympus slip-ups
- Quoting 96.50% for every edition. That return belongs to the original; the other two show theirs in their own info panels.
- Multiplying the multipliers. A 6× and a 9× give 15×, not 54×.
- Counting tumbles as extra wagering. A ten-step chain is still one paid spin and one stake on the counter.
- Expecting a Super Scatter award to beat the bonus cap. With a deposit bonus open, A$5,000 per offer is the limit on what leaves the account, whatever the screen shows.
- Raising the stake after a big tumble. Going above A$8 with a bonus running breaches the terms and adds nothing you can keep.
- Treating a dry run as a sign. Forty spins without a multiplier do not make the forty-first more likely to deliver one.
- Depositing again too soon. A VEGAS2 deposit made while the first bonus is still open does not start the second stage.
Responsible play on VegasNow pokies
Every Olympus edition is built on chance, with a long-run return under 100%, so over time the house keeps part of what is staked. A chain that stops short or a spell without multipliers is not a debt the game owes you, and chasing it with bigger stakes is the pattern to avoid. Decide your budget first, put a deposit limit on your VegasNow account, and use the account's self-exclusion tool if play stops being fun. Our responsible gambling page explains each setting.
For free, confidential help, call 1800 858 858 or visit Gambling Help Online. BetStop is the national register for people excluding themselves from Australian-licensed wagering providers; on a VegasNow account, the in-account self-exclusion setting is the tool to use. Just Entertainment B.V., Curaçao company 160603, runs VegasNow and holds licence OGL/2024/164/0246 from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, listed on the regulator's public validator. Our casino is open to adults aged 18 or older.
Gates of Olympus at VegasNow: questions and answers
Is the 1000 edition simply the original Gates of Olympus renamed?
No. It has its own tile in our lobby, its own rules and its own figures. The 96.50% RTP and the 15-spin scatter feature are published for the original, so read the 1000 edition's info panel instead of assuming either applies.
Which Gates of Olympus RTP does Pragmatic Play publish?
96.50%, for the original edition. Think of it as a long-run average across a huge number of spins, which says little about a single session. We quote nothing for the 1000 or Super Scatter editions; each displays its own inside the game.
How do the multiplier symbols combine?
Their values are added. Symbols of 4×, 8× and 15× make 27×, and that total is applied to the win from the sequence. The highest single value is 500×.
What can the Super Scatter edition pay?
During its feature, the payout climbs with the Super Scatter count: 100× for one, 500× for two, 5,000× for three and 50,000× for four. At A$2.50 a spin that is A$250, A$1,250, A$12,500 or A$125,000. With a deposit bonus open, no more than A$5,000 per offer can be cashed out.
Does Gates of Olympus clear the welcome bonus at the full rate?
Yes, as a slot it counts 100% unless the bonus terms list it as an exception. If your edition is not on that list, every staked dollar goes toward the 40× requirement.
What is the biggest stake I can use with a bonus active?
A$8 per spin, on all three editions, until the bonus is cleared, expires or is declined. Your account can only hold one bonus at a time.
How many loyalty points do Olympus spins earn?
Pokie play earns one point of each kind for every A$25 of real-money stakes. So A$1,250 of spins earns 50 points, and the first Loyalty Store exchange, 200 points for A$5, needs A$5,000.
Can I play Gates of Olympus on my phone without an app?
Yes. It runs in Safari or Chrome, and saving VegasNow to the Home Screen gives you an icon that opens the lobby like an app. We publish no store version and no APK.
