VegasNow sports betting in Australia

VegasNow is best known for pokies and live tables, but your account also opens a full sportsbook under the Sports tab. This page walks through the four betting tabs, how each bet type settles, the A$200 sports offer, the three-times deposit rule, cash-out, stake limits and the checks the Sportsbook Rules allow.

The licence behind VegasNow sports bets

Our sportsbook has no permit of its own: it shares the casino's Curaçao Gaming Authority licence. Just Entertainment B.V., company number 160603, holds licence OGL/2024/164/0246, active since 13 August 2024. The public certificate page shows the record and the domains approved under it, and our licensing page explains how to read it.

In practice you get one account, one cashier and one set of protection tools for casino and sports alike, with deposit caps and the option to self-exclude both sitting in your account settings. It also means VegasNow is not an Australian-licensed wagering provider, which matters for BetStop.

Four VegasNow betting tabs, and what each one holds

Sports

Pre-match markets on fixtures still to come, sorted by sport and league. Filters for Top leagues and Upcoming events trim the list before you build a slip.

In-Play

Live markets on games that have already kicked off. Prices shift with every passage of play, and a bet can be refused if its odds move before acceptance.

Virtual Sports

Computer-generated events that produce their own results. No real fixture is involved.

Esports

Competitive video-game matches, settled under game-specific rules, such as what happens to a CS2 map bet after a team retires or a player loses connection.

The Sportsbook Rules carry settlement sections for roughly 40 sports. Among the ones Australians look for first: cricket, Australian Rules, tennis, Rugby League, netball, Rugby Union, basketball, golf, football, darts, snooker, motor racing, and boxing alongside MMA and UFC. Horse and greyhound racing have their own racing section. A settlement section explains how bets on that sport are graded; it is no promise that a given AFL or NRL fixture will carry markets on a given day.

Single, express and system bets on the VegasNow slip

Our rules use European labels for bet types. Here is how they map onto the terms you already know.

Label in our rulesWhat it isPays when
SingleOne pick standing aloneThat pick wins: stake × price
ExpressWhat Australians call a multi: two or more picks joined on one ticketEvery pick wins; the prices are multiplied together
SystemA set of smaller multis made from the same picksAny complete line wins, so one miss need not sink the lot

Two rules limit what an express or system ticket may contain. You cannot join different markets from one match, or two bets on one player in the same tournament; if such a ticket is accepted anyway, the stake comes back to you. Group bets are banned too: identical outcomes staked again and again by one customer or a circle of connected customers, which may be reviewed.

A void selection inside a multi counts as a price of 1, so it drops out of the multiplication and the remaining legs stand. The settlement section for each sport decides when a selection is void.

Worked example: three selections, A$15 in total

Take three selections priced at 1.55, 2.60 and 1.20, and spend A$15 on them three different ways. Decimal odds include the stake: a A$15 single at 2.60 returns A$39.00, which is A$24.00 profit plus your A$15 back.

  • Express, A$15. Combined odds are 1.55 × 2.60 × 1.20 = 4.836, so a winning ticket returns A$72.54.
  • System 2 from 3, A$5 per line. Three doubles: 1.55 × 2.60 = 4.03, 1.55 × 1.20 = 1.86 and 2.60 × 1.20 = 3.12.
  • Three singles, A$5 each. Each pays on its own: A$7.75, A$13.00 and A$6.00 when it wins.
OutcomeExpressSystemSingles
All three winA$72.54A$45.05A$26.75
Only the 2.60 pick losesA$0A$9.30A$13.75
Only the 1.20 pick losesA$0A$20.15A$20.75
Only the 1.55 pick losesA$0A$15.60A$19.00
Two picks loseA$0A$0A$6.00 to A$13.00

Every column costs A$15. The express carries the largest figure but only one road to it; the singles and the system give up part of that top return in exchange for money back after a miss. If the 1.20 leg were voided and the other two won, the express would be recalculated at 1.55 × 2.60 = 4.03 and return A$60.45. Check the line count, total stake and potential return on your own slip before you confirm.

VegasNow Sports Welcome Offer: 100% up to A$200

The sports Promotions page headlines a Sports Welcome Offer of 100% up to A$200, with a "Deposit and Bet now" button beneath it and a link to its terms. The Sports landing page uses the wording "100% Free Bet up to A$200". The terms settle what the headline leaves out: the form the credit takes, the odds and markets that qualify, and the point at which winnings can be withdrawn. Read them before you deposit.

Qualifying deposit100% matchWhat to note
A$40A$40Matched in full
A$150A$150Matched in full
A$250A$200The ceiling applies; the extra A$50 earns no bonus

Any minimum deposit, odds requirement or rollover comes from the offer terms, not from this table. The sports offer is also entirely separate from our casino welcome package, worth up to A$8,000 and 500 free spins across four deposits. That package covers only casino and live dealer play, and its bonus funds cannot go on a sports bet. The bonuses page walks through the casino side.

There is also a weekly sports promo, Lucky Score & Spin, listed under Bet on Sports Weekly and paid in free spins. Its overview gives no full conditions, so read the terms first, and never place a bet you would not otherwise make just to qualify.

The x3 deposit rule, with a worked example

Rule 2.2 of the Sportsbook Rules asks you to bet each deposit three times over (x3) before withdrawing, unless a different figure is stated. A bet counts once it has been accepted and settled, win or lose. Cancelled bets, and bets whose stake is handed back, add nothing. Skip the turnover and a withdrawal request can be refused. Our general account terms carry the same three-times deposit rule for casino play.

Say you deposit A$75. The target is 3 × A$75 = A$225 of qualifying stakes.

BetStatusCounts?Running total
A$40 single on cricketSettled, lostYesA$40
A$25 three-leg expressSettled, wonYesA$65

A$50 single on a weekend fixtureAccepted, not yet settledNot yetA$65
A$60 in-play singleSettled, lostYesA$125
A$100 singleSettled, wonYesA$225

After the fifth row you are A$100 short, and the sixth bet closes the gap. The open A$50 bet will count once it settles, but does nothing for the total while it waits. x3 is measured in stakes placed, so the winning A$25 express adds A$25, not its return.

Funding and withdrawing your VegasNow sports balance

Your sports balance shares the casino's account and cashier. The AU deposit table takes Visa and Mastercard cards and MiFinity from A$30, Cashtocode from A$25, and crypto including BTC, ETH, USDT and LTC, each coin with its own minimum. PayID, POLi and Neosurf are not in it. Withdrawals leave by bank route at A$300 to A$6,000 per request, by MiFinity at A$30 to A$4,000, or in crypto within each coin's range, always to a method in your own name.

The Sportsbook Rules add that nothing is paid out until the account is fully verified. They allow for a phone verification step too, and winnings can be confiscated if the number you give is wrong or nobody answers, so keep it current. For ranges and steps, see our payments page and the withdrawals guide.

VegasNow cash-out, price changes and maximum stakes

  • Cash-out. Some markets let you settle a bet before the final result. Certain markets with only two outcomes are left out, and if cash-out was granted where it should not have been, the bet can be recalculated.
  • Price changes. When odds move during placement, the slip flags it and waits for your go-ahead. The "Accept odds change" setting removes that pause, so use it only if any current price suits you.
  • Maximum stake. Fixed per sport, event and market, open to change at any time, and individual limits can be placed on an account without a reason given.
  • Bets after the start. If a pre-match bet is accepted once the event is under way, it can be cancelled, with settlement at a price of 1.
  • Final once placed. You cannot cancel a registered bet yourself, so read the slip before you tap confirm.

Verification and account checks in the Sportsbook Rules

Every bet you place signs you up to the rules current at that moment. They can change without personal notice, but bets already struck keep their original terms.

We may carry out identity checks, credit checks and video verification, and ask for proof of where your money comes from, bank statements for example. Checking documents can take as long as 30 days, and reviewing someone's betting as long as 180 days. Several people betting from one IP address, device or local network is not permitted, and connected accounts may be blocked and any bets on them cancelled.

Betting responsibly with VegasNow

Sports betting is for adults 18+ only. Treat each bet as entertainment you pay for, never as income or a route back from a loss. In-play markets move quickly, so decide your budget before the first whistle, not halfway through.

  • Put a cap on deposits through your account settings before the first sports deposit. Self-exclusion lives on the same screen, or our support team can apply it for you.
  • BetStop (betstop.gov.au) is the government's National Self-Exclusion Register, and it applies to wagering providers licensed in Australia. Our licence comes from Curaçao, so signing up to BetStop will not reach your VegasNow account: self-exclude with us as well.
  • For free and confidential help, for you or someone you are worried about, phone Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au.

Every account tool is listed on our responsible gambling page.

VegasNow sports betting: questions and answers

Can I bet on sport with a VegasNow account?

Yes. Sports betting lives under the Sports tab, split into pre-match Sports, In-Play, Esports and Virtual Sports, with its own Promotions page and its own Sportsbook Rules.

Which licence covers VegasNow sports betting?

The casino's licence: Curaçao Gaming Authority OGL/2024/164/0246, held by Just Entertainment B.V. Betting is limited to players aged 18+.

How does the VegasNow sports welcome offer work?

The headline is 100% up to A$200, so a qualifying A$150 deposit would be matched with A$150, and any match stops at A$200. How it is credited and which bets qualify are set by the offer's own terms.

Will my casino welcome bonus work on the sportsbook?

No. Casino bonus funds stay on casino and live dealer games. The sportsbook has its own welcome offer under separate terms.

Are AFL and NRL markets available?

The Sportsbook Rules hold settlement sections for Australian Rules and Rugby League. Whether a particular match is open for betting varies from day to day, so check the Sports tab.

What does express mean on a VegasNow slip?

Express is our label for a multi. Your picks share one ticket, their prices multiply, and the ticket wins only if every pick does. A void pick counts as a price of 1.

What does the x3 rule mean for my deposit?

Each deposit must be wagered three times in accepted and settled bets before a withdrawal, unless stated otherwise. A A$75 deposit needs A$225 of stakes; returned and cancelled stakes do not count.

Can I cash out a bet early?

On some markets, yes. Certain two-outcome markets are excluded, and a bet can be recalculated if cash-out was applied in error.

Will BetStop block my VegasNow account?

It will not. BetStop applies to wagering providers licensed in Australia, while VegasNow holds a Curaçao licence. Use the self-exclusion tool in your account or ask support, and Gambling Help Online (1800 858 858) offers confidential help.
