Privacy Policy
The personal information VegasNow gathers, the reasons for it, and the control that stays with you. This page lays out our approach in plain English.
Your privacy and your data
What we collect. To set up and operate your account, VegasNow gathers a handful of categories of personal information. The first is identity and contact detail, your name, date of birth, email address, phone number and home address, which we need in order to know who you are and how to reach you. The second is verification documents: a government-issued photo ID, a proof of address such as a utility bill or bank statement, and at times proof that the payment method you are using belongs to you. The third is financial and transaction records, meaning your deposits, withdrawals, gameplay and bonus history. Last, we gather technical data automatically as you browse, your device and browser type, your IP address and cookie identifiers, which we draw on chiefly for security and fraud prevention.
Why we use it. Every piece of data serves a purpose. We use your details to build and run your account, to handle your deposits and withdrawals, and to supply the games, bonuses and promotions you have requested. We use your identity documents to confirm who you are and that you are 18 or over, and to satisfy the anti-money-laundering and licensing duties that fall on a licensed operator. Transaction and technical data let us spot, investigate and head off fraud and account abuse, which safeguards you every bit as much as it safeguards us. We will only ever use your information for direct marketing if you have actively opted in, and you can pull that consent whenever you like, without affecting your ability to carry on playing.
Cookies and tracking. As most websites do, VegasNow uses cookies, the small files your browser stores. Some are strictly necessary: they let you sign in, hold your session together and keep the site secure, and the site cannot run properly without them. Others are optional analytics cookies that help us see, in aggregate, how visitors navigate the site so we can make it better. The optional ones stay under your control the whole time. You can manage, block or clear cookies through your browser settings whenever you choose, and turning down the optional analytics cookies will not stop you using any of the casino's core features.
Sharing, security and retention. We do not sell your personal data, and we never will. We pass it on only where there is a real reason to: to the service providers who help us run the business, payment processors, identity-verification and fraud-prevention partners, game suppliers and hosting providers, and to regulators, auditors or law-enforcement authorities where the law requires it. Those providers are obliged to handle your data securely and solely for the purpose we hire them for. In transit to us your information is shielded by SSL encryption, and once it reaches us, access is limited on a need-to-know basis to the staff whose roles call for it. We hold your data for as long as your account stays active, and for the extra stretch the law and our licence demand after it closes, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights and reaching us. You hold real rights over the information we keep about you. You can request a copy of it, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, and ask us to erase it. You can also object to or restrict certain uses, and request a portable copy of the data you have provided. These rights carry one practical limit: where the law or our licence obliges us to retain certain records, transaction histories for anti-money-laundering purposes, for example, we have to keep them even if you ask for deletion. To act on any of these rights, or to raise a privacy question, get in touch through our support page. VegasNow is strictly for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly gather information from anyone below that age.
